Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Rumo, including our website, account features, AI-powered trip-planning tools, saved itineraries, subscription features, and related services. By accessing or using Rumo, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Rumo.

Rumo is an AI-powered travel-planning service. It can help interpret trip ideas, organize travel preferences, infer a Traveler Profile or Traveler DNA, generate itineraries, estimate trip budgets, suggest routes, stays, activities, food ideas, transportation approaches, and provide general travel-planning information.

Rumo is not a travel agency, airline, hotel, tour operator, transportation provider, booking provider, government authority, health provider, or safety authority. Rumo does not itself operate the flights, accommodations, tours, transportation, restaurants, or other third-party services that may appear in a trip plan.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for activity that occurs through your account. You should notify us promptly at support@travelwithrumo.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You may not use another person's account without permission or create an account using information you are not authorized to use.

Rumo uses artificial intelligence to interpret travel requests, infer travel preferences and structured trip information, generate and revise itineraries, estimate budgets, and provide travel guidance. AI-generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances.

Rumo does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, or suitability of any itinerary, recommendation, estimate, route, schedule, travel requirement, or other generated content.

Budgets, prices, fares, fees, exchange-rate assumptions, travel times, schedules, routes, opening hours, inventory, reservation availability, and other travel details are estimates or planning information and can change at any time.

Visa, passport, immigration, entry, transit, vaccination, health, weather, security, and safety information can change rapidly and may depend on your nationality, residency, route, personal circumstances, or destination. Before booking or traveling, you must independently verify important information using current authoritative sources, such as relevant government agencies, embassies or consulates, transportation providers, accommodation providers, health authorities, and official booking providers.

Rumo may link to third-party websites or services for flights, accommodations, activities, maps, search results, or other travel products. When you leave Rumo and interact with a third party, that third party's terms, privacy practices, pricing, cancellation rules, refund rules, availability, and service obligations apply.

Any booking or purchase you make through a third party is between you and that third party. Rumo is not responsible for a third party's acts or omissions, service quality, cancellation, delay, insolvency, injury, loss, availability, refund decision, or changes to a booking.

You are responsible for reviewing the applicable provider's current terms and booking details before purchasing.

Some links in Rumo are affiliate links. Rumo may receive compensation when you book or purchase through certain links, generally without an additional charge to you. Not every external link is necessarily an affiliate link.

Affiliate compensation does not guarantee that a third-party service is accurate, available, suitable, or the best option for you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.

Rumo may offer free and paid plans. Current plan features, usage limits, and prices are shown on Rumo's pricing interface and may change prospectively.

Paid Rumo plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until canceled. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize the applicable recurring charge through our payment provider until you cancel.

You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through your Rumo account using the Stripe Customer Portal. If your subscription is set to cancel at the end of the current billing period, paid access continues through that applicable billing period and then returns to the plan available to you under Rumo's current entitlement rules.

Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Rumo does not promise prorated or automatic refunds. If you believe there has been a billing error or there are exceptional circumstances you would like us to review, contact support@travelwithrumo.com.

You may use Rumo only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not harm Rumo, other users, or third parties. You may not attempt to bypass usage limits or security controls, interfere with the service, access accounts or systems without authorization, introduce malicious code, scrape or overload the service in a way that materially disrupts it, use Rumo to facilitate unlawful activity, or misrepresent Rumo-generated information as an official government, medical, safety, or booking-provider determination.

Rumo and its website, software, branding, visual design, and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights in Rumo's software, branding, or proprietary materials are transferred to you.

You retain any rights you may have in content you submit to Rumo. You give us permission to process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service and to provide the features you request, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Rumo is evolving. We may add, remove, change, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, plan limits, or parts of the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every trip request will generate successfully, or that a particular third-party integration will remain available.

Where reasonably practical, material changes to paid-service terms will apply prospectively.

To the extent permitted by law, Rumo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Rumo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or losses arising from reliance on travel estimates, AI-generated information, third-party services, bookings, delays, cancellations, safety conditions, or changes in travel requirements.

To the extent permitted by law, Rumo's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Rumo for the service during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

We may suspend or terminate access to Rumo if we reasonably believe you have materially violated these Terms, abused the service, created security or legal risk, failed to pay applicable charges, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to protect Rumo, users, or third parties. We may also discontinue the service or particular features.

You may stop using Rumo at any time. Requests for account or data deletion may be sent to support@travelwithrumo.com.

We may update these Terms as Rumo changes or as legal requirements evolve. We will post the updated Terms with a revised effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of Rumo after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer protections that apply to you remain unaffected.
